Agritechnica – The World’s No.1

On the weekend from Thursday, the 14th of November to Saturday the 16th , the HLA 5 went on a trip to the world's leading trade fair for agricultural technology, the Agritechnica.

We started on Thursday morning at nine o’clock at the train station of Lindau. From there we went with four trains to our hostel in Goslar. After a ridiculous check in we went for dinner.

On Friday morning we went to the Agritechnica. There we split up and explored the huge area of almost 50 ha. Till 6 o’clock p.m. we had interesting talks with different traders, watched out for new machines, ate and drank something and got one or two freebies.

On our last day we started at the same time as the day before. After a great second day on the Agritechnica we met up at 3 o’clock p.m. and got the train home. When we were in the ICE to Munich, the train stopped due to technical problems and we missed our connection and had to wait for the next train in Munich. After three changes we finally arrived in Lindau at 1:41.

Our personal highlights of the Agritechnica:

·         Fullliner like Fendt, John Deere, Claas, CNH

·         Innovations such as the Methane-tractor or precision farming

·         The New Fendt One cabin

·         The VR Tractor survey

·         The SIP line-up

·         Machines of the Year Awards

·         The 30m3 slurry tanker from Bauer
